Fiber Optic Installation Technician

Responsibilities:

• Install fiber optic cables in underground and overhead applications.
• Understand customer specifications and find appropriate solutions.
• Understand the physical properties of optical fiber and glass.
• Select the proper equipment for each part of the installation.
• Be skilled with jetting equipment and equipment maintenance.
• Be proficient at operating a vehicle and hauling a trailer.
• Must have a valid DL and clean driving record.
